Mira Marine was established in 2009 in Istanbul as a brand specializing in marine lubricant supply services. Since its foundation, it has been the exclusive authorized distributor of the DEW brand in Turkey, offering sales and supply of high-performance lubricants specifically developed for the maritime industry.
Initially serving only Istanbul and its surrounding areas, Mira Marine has grown to provide supply services at all ports across Turkey and in various locations around the world. With a wide range of products such as main engine oils, cylinder oils, synthetic oils, and gear oils, the company offers fast and reliable solutions to meet all the needs of vessels.
Operating as a physical supplier in Turkey and a trader globally, Mira Marine has become one of the top choices for shipowners thanks to its strong logistics network, boutique service approach, and team of maritime industry experts.
Since 2020, it has added Castrol, a global giant, to its service portfolio.

Our Founder
S. BARIŞ TÜRKMEN
Born on December 29, 1976, our company’s founder Serhat Barış Türkmen is married and the father of one child. He graduated from Kocaeli University, Faculty of Maritime Studies, and is a licensed Ship Captain. He speaks English fluently and is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping and a passionate Fenerbahçe supporter, serving as the Founding President of the Maritime Fenerbahçe Fans Association.
In 2000, Serhat Barış Türkmen founded Mira Marine and, over the past 25 years, has transformed the company into one of the leading firms in the private maritime sector. Alongside his professional endeavors, he has also taken on active roles in maritime non-governmental organizations and chambers of commerce.
In IMEAK Chamber of Shipping, Turkey’s largest chamber of commerce, he began his duties in 2018 as a Clerk Member of the Assembly and, as of 2022, continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors. In addition, he holds board memberships in several companies operating in different areas of the maritime industry.
